In a sweltering West End theatre dressing room, six Tributes Acts gather to audition for a prestigious new Legends show transferring from Las Vegas to London.
As the day progresses and temperatures rise, we gradually glimpse behind the masks of this odd incongruous ensemble as they are forced to come to terms with truths about their own lives and the price tag of being a ‘fake’.
This amazing piece was written by Neil Harrison, manager of the ‘The Bootleg Beatles’. After starring as John Lennon in the West End musical ‘Beatlemania’, Neil co-founded this first ever Beatles Tribute band in the UK, still thriving after nearly
forty years touring the globe.
Neil has also been an artist in his own right with Decca records, has penned US hits for Lulu and has written a number of musicals for the London Fringe. Neil is a member of the
British Writer’s Guild.
